Lawyer Pancho Joaquin, Aquino Roxas Bantay Balota (ARBB) spokesperson reminded their watchers nationwide that "Senator Benigno Aquino said yesterday that when the votes of Senator Mar Roxas from his bailiwicks are finally tallied, he is confident that Mar Roxas will eventually take the lead in the Vice-Presidential Race. We share his confidence. Various reports we are getting from the official canvass of votes taking place across the country continue to boost our confidence. Millions of votes in favor of Mar Roxas have not yet been reflected in the Comelec media tally."Reacting to claims made by Makati Mayor Jojo Binay that they have received reports that "special operations" are underway, Senator Franklin Drilon said during a press briefing that "the campaign is already over but Binay is still spreading intrigues. He should stop conditioning the minds of the people with irresponsible and unfounded insinuations. This is a closer race than he would want the people to believe."
"We have also instructed our watchers to guard against any special operations to subvert the people's will," added Joaquin.
oaquin said that their vote protection unit "will continue to guard the votes of Mar Roxas in response to Senator Aquino's call for us to ensure that every vote cast in favor of Mar Roxas is counted in this tight race. We are confident that Mar Roxas will win in the end."
